4 years agoIt was a heartbreaking setback for young star Miranda Maverick (11-3) on Saturday, but she kept the contest close, losing a split decision to fellow young upcoming star Maycee Barber. Many would actually argue that Maverick won the contest. Statistically, Maverick out-struck Barber, landing 47 significant strikes (82 total strikes) compared to Barber's 36 significant strikes (38 total strikes.) Maverick should be a force in the future for the women's flyweight division, and fantasy managers should keep an eye on her for several years to come.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
