Isaac Paredes Doing Minimal Baseball Work
3 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Isaac Paredes (hip) is doing minimal baseball work currently, but the team hopes that he'll be able to ramp up activity fairly quickly, according to Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic. Paredes was placed on the injured list on Thursday with a right hip strain, with the move made retroactive to July 20. He's only appeared in 14 games this season, but has put up solid numbers as he's slashing .256/.340/.410 with one home run, four RBI and four runs scored in that span. That being said, even when he's activated it's unlikely he'll have any impact in fantasy as he'll primarily be a bench bat. He could be a guy to keep an eye on in dynasty leagues though, as he has some decent potential to become a 15-homer threat in the future.
