3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh (side) left Monday night's game against the Colorado Rockies with side pain, according to Sam Blum of The Athletic. Walsh went 2-for-3 with one RBI before his departure. Walsh has continued his breakout from 2019, slashing .266/.320/.516 with 22 homers, 67 RBI, and 47 runs scored in 97 games this year. The Angels went on to win the game 6-2, but Phil Gosselin replacement for Walsh in the lineup was not something that Angels fans nor fantasy managers wanted to see. There isn't much info on the severity of the injury yet, and he should be considered day-to-day until further details. Stay tuned for updates.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
