Kyle Farmer Triples, Homers In Loss
3 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Kyle Farmer went 2-for-3 with a triple, a homer, a run, an RBI, and a walk in a 6-5 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Farmer ripped a solo shot in the fourth inning off of Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks while adding his first triple of the season in the loss. The veteran shortstop is now hitting .241 with nine homers, 32 runs, 32 RBI, and two steals over 274 at-bats this season. He has been hot at the plate of late, hitting .400 with two homers over his past seven games.
