Travis d'Arnaud Set For Rehab Assignment
3 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud (thumb) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment this week. He's been sidelined since May after undergoing thumb surgery. The 32-year-old has been with the Braves throughout the road trip and was participating in baseball activities. d'Arnaud is expected to play in a few minor league games before being activated from the 60-day injured list. The Braves catcher hit .220 (18-for-82) with two home runs and 11 RBI across 87 plate appearances in 2021. Fantasy managers in two-catcher formats should stash d'Arnaud after he slashed a career-high .321/.386/.533 over 44 games in shortened 2020 campaign.
