Hector Santiago Returns From Suspension Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners left-hander Hector Santiago has finished his 10-game suspension after being found with an illegal substance on his glove last month. The Mariners have been down to 25 players since July 3, the first day of Santiago's suspension. Santiago has pitched well out of the bullpen for the Mariners and has helped keep them in contention late in July. Across 24 1/3 innings, he has posted a 3.33 ERA, 27.4 K%, 9.4 BB% and has surrendered two home runs. There isn't much fantasy value in Santiago, who hasn't had any save chances and has zero holds on the year as more of a middle-relief arm.
