Charlie Morton Gets The Job Done On Tuesday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton wasn't perfect on Tuesday, but did his job versus the New York Mets. He went five innings, five hits allowed, three earned runs, two walks, and five strikeouts in the 12-5 victory. The Braves gave Morton plenty of early run support, so he didn't need to be perfect. He has been excellent throughout most of the season and should be rostered in all fantasy formats. Morton will have a home matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.
