3 years agoMontreal Canadiens were able to come to a contract agreement with free-agent forward Mike Hoffman on Wednesday. Hoffman signed a three-year deal worth $13.5 million with the Habs. He spent just one season in St. Louis, scoring 17 goals and adding 19 helpers in 52 regular-season games. The 31-year-old could provide some offensive firepower for Montreal as they ranked 17th in the league in regular-season goals scored in 2021. It will be interesting to see where Hoffman fits in for the upcoming season. Fantasy managers expect Hoffman to excel in Montreal as he has produced points consistently at all levels.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
