3 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Michael Lorenzen (hamstring) could rejoin the team in the next seven-to-10-day, general manager Nick Krall told reporters on Wednesday. Lorenzen strained his hamstring on July 17, his first appearance of the season after suffering a shoulder strain during spring training that sidelined him for three months. In his only game this season, the 29-year-old registered two strikeouts and one walk through one inning pitched. Krall also said he expects reliever Lucas Sims (elbow) to return within two weeks if his rehab assignment continues to go as planned and for reliever Tejay Antone (forearm) to return after that.--Chelena Goldman
