Jordan Lyles Tosses Solid Outing Versus D-Backs
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Lyles threw one of his better outings of the season against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday. He went seven innings, two hits allowed, two earned runs, two walks, and six strikeouts in the no-decision. The 30-year-old wasn't able to get the win, but at least he held his own here. He'll carry a 5.04 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 90 strikeouts into his next outing versus the Los Angeles Angels. That'll be a much tougher matchup, which means Lyles won't be a reliable streaming option.
