3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu tossed six scoreless innings on Thursday as his club rolled to a 13-1 victory over the Red Sox. The veteran southpaw struck out five and surrendered just two hits with no walks in the impressive 87-pitch outing to lower his ERA to 3.26 on the year. Ryu was handed a four-run lead early and the offense kept piling on the runs all night, giving him plenty of comfort on the mound to earn his 10th win of the year. The 34-year-old hasn't pitched all that consistently over the past few weeks, but he should be in starting lineups in his next tilt versus the Indians.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
