3 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada continued his struggles at the plate on Thursday, finishing 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in a 5-0 loss to the Royals. Moncada has now gone hitless in three straight games, and is slashing .111/.143/.148 over his last seven games. He's been very streaky this year, but overall has managed to put up fairly solid numbers at the plate, slashing .265/.382/.403 with eight home runs, two steals, 45 RBI and 44 runs over 92 games. He'll hope to turn things around at the plate and break out of this slump when the White Sox return to Chicago on Friday night.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
