3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 3-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI, and three runs scored during Thursday's 14-0 win over the Yankees. He blasted a three-run shot off Gerrit Cole in the bottom of the first inning to give the Rays a 4-0 lead. He later took Albert Abreu deep in the sixth inning for his second long ball of the game. It was the 26-year-old's second multi-homer effort over his last four games. Meadows is having an excellent bounce-back season in 2021 after a disappointing 2020 campaign, slashing .243/.330/.480 with 20 home runs, 76 RBI, 59 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 412 plate appearances.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
