3 years agoTeams are being told that the Colorado Rockies will not trade away starting pitcher Jon Gray prior to the trade deadline, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. Gray had been considered one of the top trade targets heading into the deadline, but reports emerged late this week that the Rockies might opt to keep Gray and offer him a qualifying offer at the end of the season.
