Josh Donaldson Out With Hamstring Tightness
3 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Josh Donaldson (hamstring) was a late scratch on Friday night against St. Louis. Donaldson wasn't in the lineup either on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers, as his name was mentioned as a potential trade option. However, with the deadline passed, the veteran will remain with the team, although he is now dealing with a tight right hamstring. Donaldson is considered day-to-day, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he missed more time moving ahead. In the meantime, with the Twins playing a National League opponent, Willians Astudillo moved over to the hot corner while Miguel Sano was in charge of manning first.
