3 years agoMiami Marlins top starting pitching prospect Edward Cabrera was excellent on Friday, striking out 12 in just 4 2/3 innings for Triple-A Jacksonville. Cabrera is a top-five prospect in the Marlins system and a top-50 prospect throughout baseball on most lists. He just recently got the call to Triple-A after posting a 2.77 ERA in 26 innings at Double-A Pensacola to start the season. Cabrera misses a ton of bats and usually has pretty good control of the strike zone as well. He's got number 2 starter upside and should be up for at least a cup of coffee in September this season. He's worth a stash in all dynasty and keeper formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
