3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Logan Gilbert continued to establish himself as a solid major league pitcher as he earned his fifth win of the season Friday against the Texas Rangers. Facing a less than formidable lineup with the loss of Joey Gallo, Gilbert gave up four runs on six hits and a walk with six strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. It wasn't his most dominant outing, but it was enough to get the job done. Fantasy managers will be looking for more length from Gilbert going forward, as he's completed six innings just three times in his 13 starts.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
