Josh Bell Continues Home Run Binge
3 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell was one of the last men standing along with Juan Soto after the trade deadline dust settled Friday, and he continued his hot streak against the Chicago Cubs. Bell went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run, his 17th of the season. He's homered five times in his last 11 games and has posted an impressive .567 slugging percentage over his last 30. The overall offense might be a bit weaker going forward than it has been, but Bell should maintain most of his value batting fourth on a daily basis.
