3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays are sending outfielder Jordan Luplow and right-handed pitcher DJ Johnson to Triple-A Durham. Tampa Bay acquired both in a trade deadline deal with the Cleveland Indians for right-handed pitching prospect Peyton Battenfield. Whenever Tampa Bay brings up Luplow, the outfielder could be worth a look in deeper leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring. In 121 plate appearances this season, the 27-year-old is hitting .173 with a .331 on-base percentage, a 17.4% walk rate, and seven home runs.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
