Raisel Iglesias Picks Up 22nd Save Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels closer Raisel Iglesias got save number 22 of the year in Saturday's 1-0 victory against the Oakland Athletics. Iglesias came into the game in the eighth, getting out of a two-out runner on second jam. He threw 1.1 innings and struck out two while allowing no base on balls. He's been a bright spot in one of the worst bullpens in the league, producing a 3.14 ERA with 73 strikeouts and eight walks in 48.2 innings. Iglesias wasn't dealt at the deadline after the Angels made him available, meaning he will continue as the closer for the rest of the season, barring any injury. Fantasy managers should continue trusting Iglesias to provide good results and appear in almost every save situation for the Angels.
