3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia (toe) is not expected to go on the 10-day injured list with a sprained big toe. He's "in a lot of discomfort," said manager Bud Black. The 27-year-old sprained his big toe during Friday's 9-4 win over the Padres. Tapia is expected to miss 2-to-3 days and should return to the lineup soon. He is slashing .289/.342/.388 with five home runs, 43 RBI, and 59 runs scored over 99 games in 2021. The Rockies outfielder doesn't provide much power but makes up for it with his speed by swiping a career-high 19 bags this season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
