Dylan Moore Swipes 16th Base Saturday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dylan Moore started Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers batting ninth and playing left field. He went 1-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base before being lifted for a pinch-hitter. The acquisition of Abraham Toro has clearly cut into Moore's playing time, and it appears he may sit against many right-handed starters going forward. His 16 stolen bases are impressive, but they aren't enough to keep him on rosters if he only plays on the short side of a platoon.
