Josiah Gray To Start For Nationals Monday
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Josiah Gray has been added to the active roster in anticipation of making his team debut Monday in a start against the Philadelphia Phillies. Relief pitcher Tanner Rainey was optioned to Triple-A Rochester to make room. Gray, who was acquired in the Max Scherzer-Trea Turner deal with the Dodgers, gets a boost in his fantasy value as he is now expected to be in the rotation for the remainder of the season. Gray has allowed six runs in eight innings this season with 13 strikeouts. He should be on fantasy rosters in most formats, as he has plenty of upside in all categories.
