3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios started off on a good note with his new club on Sunday, tossing six-scoreless frames in the team's 5-1 win over the Royals. The right-hander allowed five hits and one walk while striking out seven batters in the 95-pitch outing as he improved his record to 8-5 on the year. With the move to the AL East, Berrios will face some stiffer competition than his regular AL Central foes, but he should see more wins now that he's backed by one of the league's brightest offenses. He'll take a crisp 3.31 ERA and 1.04 WHIP into his next contest versus the Red Sox.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
