3 years agoOakland Athletics infielder Josh Harrison and catcher Yan Gomes are in the starting lineup on Sunday for their team debut after being acquired from the Nationals on Friday. Harrison is getting the start at second base and batting seventh against the Angels, while Gomes is starting behind the plate and hitting sixth in the order. Harrison has been hot at the plate over his last 15 games, slashing .368/.419/.667 with one homer, seven RBI and 10 runs scored. Meanwhile, over 10 games in July, Gomes is slashing .333/.412/.667 with two home runs, eight RBI and six runs scored.
