Marcus Stroman Takes 10th Loss Sunday
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman took his 10th loss of the season Sunday, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk to the Cincinnati Reds in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four batters. Stroman's line would have looked quite a bit better had reliever Miguel Castro not allowed two inherited runners to come around to score in the sixth inning. For the season, Stroman has well outperformed his record with a 2.80 ERA and 1.13 WHIP. He's worth an add for his solid ratios and his 11 quality starts in 22 games.
