Brandon Lowe Blasts 23rd Home Run
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer during Sunday's 3-2 win over the Red Sox. He took Nick Pivetta deep in the bottom of the third inning for his 23rd long ball of the season. The 27-year-old leads the Rays in home runs and owns a career-high 12.9 BB percentage this season. Lowe is slashing .224/.338/.474 across 400 plate appearances in 2021. The Rays infielder doesn't contribute in batting average but is a steady producer in homers, RBI, and runs scored, making Lowe a solid option in all league formats.
