3 years agoToronto Blue Jays relief pitcher John Axford has been traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations. The 38-year-old has not pitched in the majors since the 2018 season. Although, Axford has posted a 0.77 ERA and 15/3 K/BB ratio over 11 2/3 innings in the minors this season. He will immediately join the Brewers MLB roster. It was a nice move by the Jays to give Axford a chance to head back to Milwaukee to finish out his career. It's unlikely Axford holds much fantasy value whatsoever, but a great story nonetheless.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
