3 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen does not appear close to a contract extension with the organization. The Bills exercised their fifth-year option on Allen to keep him under team control through 2022. It sounds like the two sides could break off talks before August 15 and wait until next offseason. Buffalo is likely going to wait and see what kind of extension Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield receive before signing Allen. A deal in the ballpark of $100 million guaranteed doesn't sound insane for an Allen extension down the road.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
