3 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham (back) underwent surgery and will miss the rest of training camp. Stidham had back surgery and was given a three-month timetable. He'll miss the beginning of the regular season, but wasn't going to compete for a starting spot anyway. Veteran Cam Newton and rookie Mac Jones are battling for the starting quarterback job. Brian Hoyer will compete with Jake Dolegala for the No. 3 spot on the Patriots roster. Stidham won't be worth drafting in fantasy leagues and will almost certainly be the third string once he's healthy.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
