3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson turned in a breakout season in 2020, but he also led the NFL in dropped passes. According to reports, the talented wide receiver is still having some issues with drops during training camp. Johnson reportedly dropped a few balls during practice on Saturday, including one in the end zone on a Mason Rudolph pass. The issue doesn't directly affect Johnson from a fantasy perspective as drops don't equate to negative fantasy points, although it could become an issue if quarterback Ben Roethlisberger starts to lose confidence in Johnson and starts to look to deliver the ball elsewhere. It could also open the door for Chase Claypool or JuJu Smith-Schuster to overtake Johnson as the No. 1 WR on the team. That being said, Johnson's talent is undeniable as an explosive wideout who can get open against the defense with ease. For now, consider Johnson as a solid WR2 in PPR fantasy leagues for the upcoming season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
