Josiah Gray Shines In Nationals Debut
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Josiah Gray shone in his team debut Monday, lasting five innings against the Philadelphia Phillies. He allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two batters. The only blemish was an Odubel Herrera solo home run in the top of the fifth inning. Gray has now appeared in three games this season including two starts, posting a 4.85 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with 15 strikeouts in 13 innings. He has plenty of potential and should be on rosters for that upside alone.
