Tylor Megill Endures First Career Loss
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill looked nearly invincible in July, but the Miami Marlins managed to touch him up for four runs in the first inning of his first start in August. All in all, Megill allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and no walks in five innings. He struck out four batters. The loss drops his record on the season to 1-1, but he still maintains a stellar 2.68 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 43 strikeouts in 40 1/3 innings. He's been a revelation for Mets fans and fantasy managers alike, and should be in starting lineups going forward despite the tough inning.
