3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Michael Wacha (2-3) allowed six earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three across four innings during Monday's 8-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners. He was tagged with his third loss of the season. Wacha cruised through the first two frames before yielding five runs in the third. The Mariners tacked on one more run in the fourth inning, and Wacha exited after 86 pitches. The 30-year-old owns a 5.26 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a 69:22 K: BB across 75 1/3 innings in 2021. Wacha can be used as a streamer and will look for better results in a plus matchup against the Orioles on Sunday.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
