3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (thumb) will start on Wednesday against the Texas Rangers, according to Sam Blum of The Athletic. Ohtani hasn't been on the mound since July 26 because of a sore thumb but has continued appearing in the lineup as the designated hitter. It's good news for fantasy managers that he won't need an IL stint, as he's been very good on the pitching side of things this season.
