Curtis Terry Gets First Career Hit
3 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Curtis Terry started his MLB career off 0-for-20 at the plate. However, he was able to get a few knocks during Monday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. He went 2-for-3 with a double and a single in the 4-1 victory. The 24-year-old will get a legitimate shot at the designated hitter spot going forward. Willie Calhoun (forearm) is still likely out until the end of August, so the Rangers will give Terry plenty of chances. He won't be a factor in fantasy leagues, but at least he was able to get a few hits on Monday.
