Quenton Nelson To Have Foot Surgery Tuesday
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson will have surgery on his injured foot on Tuesday after he injured himself during Monday's practice session. The team is saying that the foot injury is nearly the same injury that quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with, although the issue stems from something Nelson was born with. Wentz will need surgery and has been given a 5-12 week timetable for return. Nelson is widely regarded as one of the top guards in all of football and his absence will be felt primarily in the running game. The Colts are already without left tackle Eric Fisher (PUP list) and center Ryan Kelly (elbow). Look for running back Jonathan Taylor's ADP to dip into the second round as a result.
