3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI, and a run scored Tuesday against the Miami Marlins. Despite a robust .303/.398/.506 slash line in 103 plate appearances this season, Davis has just two hits in his last 17 at-bats, and he's only started four of the team's last seven games. He offers plenty of offensive upside, but with inconsistent playing time for a struggling offensive team, there may be better options out there for fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
