3 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Matt Barnes tested negative for COVID-19 Tuesday evening, and he is expected to be activated from the COVID list in advance of Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Barnes had been placed on the list Tuesday due to symptoms consistent with the virus, though he never returned a positive test.
