3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Luis Patino (2-3) allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three across five innings during Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners. He was tagged with his third loss of the season. The 21-year-old was hurt by the long ball and served up a pair of solo home runs to Abraham Toro and Jarred Kelenic in the fourth inning. He threw 100 pitches, firing 65 for strikes. The Rays right-hander owns a 4.42 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and a 39:12 K: BB across 36 2/3 innings in 2021.
