Jordan Lyles Allows Six Runs In Blowout Loss
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Lyles pitched well his last time on the mound, but it didn't carry over into Tuesday's start. He went 5 2/3 innings, nine hits allowed, six earned runs, three walks, and six strikeouts in the 11-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He was basically hit around all game long, but at least he got six strikeouts. He'll carry a 5.25 ERA and 1.43 WHIP over 120 innings into his next outing versus the Oakland Athletics. This is be another avoidable matchup for Lyles as we've seen a ton of those lately.
