3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez had an outstanding start Wednesday, allowing no runs on two hits and four walks in five innings against the Detroit Tigers. He struck out a season-high 10 batters and picked up his eighth win of the year. This is the type of start that Rodriguez's fantasy managers have been expecting all year long, and this potential is part of what makes rostering the left-hander so frustrating. He now has a 5.33 ERA and 1.40 WHIP on the season with 131 strikeouts in 104 2/3 innings. Rodriguez will look to build on this outing next week against the Tampa Bay Rays.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
