3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez isn't in the team's lineup on Thursday ahead of a matchup with the Detroit Tigers and left-handed starter Tarik Skubal. Vazquez is hitting .258 with a .306 on-base percentage, four home runs, and eight stolen bases in 356 plate appearances this season. It'll be Kevin Plawecki who starts behind the plate. The veteran is batting sixth against Skubal and could be a useful streaming option in deeper leagues on Thursday.
