3 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Eli White (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday — retroactive to Wednesday — with a right elbow strain, according to Rangers Executive Vice President of Communications John Blake. White was scratched from Thursday's lineup due to what was reported as tightness in his right elbow, Over 64 games this year, White is slashing .177/.259/.308 with six homers, four steals, 15 RBI and 26 runs scored. To replace White on the roster, the Rangers have recalled infielder Yonny Hernandez from Triple-A Round Rock.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
