3 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron isn't in the team's lineup on Thursday for a matchup with right-hander Jake Arrieta and the Chicago Cubs. Cron has enjoyed a strong first season in Colorado, providing the Rockies and fantasy managers with some quality production. In 337 plate appearances this season, the 31-year-old is batting .245 with a .353 on-base percentage, 14 home runs, and a stolen base. However, Cron will be on the bench Thursday with Connor Joe getting the start at first base and batting fifth. Joe is hitting .276 with a .357 on-base percentage and a pair of home runs in 98 plate appearances this year. He's worth a look as a streaming option against the Cubs, especially considering the game is at Coors Field.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
