3 years agoYegor Sharangovich remains a member of the New Jersey Devils after signing a new two-year deal on Thursday. This will pay him an AAV of $2 million with $1.8 million coming in 2021-22 and $2.2 million in 2022-23. Sharangovich will still be a restricted free agent at the end of this contract. The 23-year old Russian forward broke into the league with an overtime goal early last season against the Boston Bruins. He kept right on going as Sharagovich scored 16 goals and 30 points in 54 games. The winger can play a little center as well but more importantly, showed the ability to play top-six minutes when needed.
