Kwang Hyun Kim To Start Saturday
3 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have set their rotation for the weekend and will have Kwang Hyun Kim start on Saturday to take on the Kansas City Royals. He will be receiving nine days of rest, last pitching on July 28. According to Katie Woo, there is no injury, the team just wanted to give him some extra days off. Kim has been terrific out of the Cardinal's rotation this season, posting a 3.31 ERA with a 6-6 record, although with only 67 K and 29 BB in 87 innings of work. He struggled his last outing, allowing five runs and four home runs in just 2.2 IP against the Cleveland Indians, which might have influenced the decision for the long break between starts. He continues to be a good fantasy option in leagues that count ERA, but he won't help in anything else.
