Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Gets Hit, Stays In Game
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. got hit in his left wrist during Thursday's contest against the Cleveland Indians. But, Blue Jays fans and fantasy managers let out a sigh of relief after he was able to stay in the game. There is no word yet on if he will be able to play tomorrow or not, but the fact that he finished the game was a good sign. Guerrero has broken out in a big way this season, slashing .322/.417/.644 with 34 HRs, 85 RBI, and 83 runs. If he does have to miss any time, it would be disappointing and fantasy managers will hope it's just for a game or two. Stay tuned for an update on the injury.
