Dylan Bundy Earns Second Win Of Season
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Dylan Bundy (2-8) got his second win of the year on Thursday against the Texas Rangers. He threw 6.1 shutout innings with six strikeouts and no walks. It was his first start of six or more innings since May 2. Bundy's had a disappointing year thus far, pitching to a 6.14 ERA with a 21.5 K%, 8.2 BB%, and has allowed 17 HRs in 80.2 innings. It was a good sign to see Bundy keep the Rangers at bay, even with their weak lineup, and it may bring up his confidence a bit for the rest of the year. Bundy will need to show that he can repeat his good performance against better offenses before he becomes a waiver wire option. But fantasy managers who held onto Bundy can continue to do so and monitor his next couple of starts.
