3 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Mike Moustakas (heel) has been activated from the 60-day injured list and is in the starting lineup on Friday, the team announced on Twitter. Moustakas has been out since mid-May with a bruised right heel, and now he rejoins the team for Friday's matchup with the Pirates where he'll bat fifth in the lineup. Moustakas was slashing .241/.337/.437 with four homers, 13 RBI and 15 runs scored over 28 games prior to the injury, and now according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Moustakas is expected to be part of a lefty/righty platoon at third base with Eugenio Suarez for the next week or so. Managers can go ahead and scoop him up off the waiver wire now, and hope that he can heat up at the plate quickly.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
